Last month I shot Native Arkansan Rob Newton's Carroll Gardens restaurant Seersucker for my old friends at Arkansas Life. I sent them the hi-res images of their picks earlier today so I thought I'd post some of the outtakes from the shoot. I'm going to have to go back and eat those Chicken and Dumplings...
Recently, I joined David Lanthan Reamer in his Catching the Ox project. I met him through a mutual friend and colleague, Mike Gross. The two came up with this project which is supported by a small group of photographers scattered along the east and west coasts. Each month or so, some or all of the photographers create a photograph with the inspiration of a common culinary category. I participated in the "apples" category with David. He and I came up with two very different concepts and they look pretty great together if I do say so myself. Check it out here.
